The Bryan/College Station Chamber of Commerce is dedicated to advocating for a strong business climate and a thriving community through the leadership of its Legislative Affairs Committee. This committee works to identify the issues, opportunities, and challenges facing local businesses and to gather input from Chamber members and community leaders. By listening to those we serve, the Chamber helps ensure that the priorities of the Bryan-College Station region are clearly represented at every level of government.
Each year, the Chamber develops comprehensive Legislative Action Plans that outline key priorities for our business community. These plans are presented to elected officials and policymakers at the state capitol in Austin and in Washington, D.C., allowing the Chamber to proactively advocate for policies that encourage economic growth, workforce development, infrastructure investment, and an overall higher quality of life for our region. Through these efforts, we work to strengthen both the business environment and the community as a whole.
