In the heart of Aggieland, the Bryan-College Station Chamber of Commerce stands as a foundation of support for local businesses, driving economic growth and fostering a great sense of community. Through collaboration, advocacy and resource, the chamber plays a role in enhancing local business in the Bryan-College Station area.

 

Collaboration and Networking

One of the primary resources the chamber provides is to facilitate collaboration and networking among local businesses. Through various events such as Business After Hours, businesses have the opportunity to connect, share ideas and establish valuable partnerships.  Additionally, these collaborative events encourage innovation and knowledgeable sharing. Advocacy and Representation

The Chamber serves as an advocate for the interest of local businesses, both large and small. By actively engaging with local, state, and federal government and policymakers, the Chamber ensures that the voice of businesses is heard. Our Legislative Affairs committee ensures there is presence at local council meetings to provide opportunities to be proactive on business-related issues and provides forums for candidates’ views on business issues. In addition, the Legislative Affair Committee also plans annual legislative trips to Washington D.C. and Austin. Business Development and Support Services

Recognizing the importance of continuous growth, the B/CS Chamber of Commerce provides a range of business development and support services. To start every year, the chamber and the Community Outreach Committee host a Small Business Forum for all new business owners and entrepreneurs with the knowledge and skills needed to thrive in the B/CS area.
