Deluxe Ribbon Cutting Event
Deluxe Ribbon Cuttings are held to provide an opportunity for a Chamber member to showcase their recent membership in the Chamber, a new location, a new owner, renovation/remodel, business expansion or milestone anniversary (increments of 5 years). The Chamber only hosts one Deluxe Ribbon Cuttings per week (usually on a Wednesday). Most events take place from 11:30 a.m. until 12:30 p.m. or 4:30 p.m. until 5:30 p.m.
Sponsoring a Deluxe Ribbon Cutting is $500.00 (add $100 for each additional business participating) payable with the signing of the DRC Agreement. This covers the cost of all event promotion. The Member sponsor provides food and beverages for approximately 40-50 people in addition to the Chamber fee. A member can host the event at their location, or any appropriate facility where the host facility is a Chamber Member, as well.
The Chamber of Commerce staff will create and email all invitations directly to all Chamber members while publicizing the event via radio and television, and the weekly Chamber e-newsletter. The Chamber will supply the ribbon, scissors and camera for the photo for the event and will be responsible for placing the ribbon-cutting photo in the Eagle.
Standard Ribbon Cutting Event
Standard Ribbon Cuttings are scheduled based on availability at 11:30 a.m. or 4:30 p.m. (other times must be approved in advance) and the ceremony lasts 30 minutes.
The Chamber of Commerce will bring the scissors, ribbon and camera for the ceremony. The Chamber will promote your event on our weekly eNewsletter, The Insider Report, on social media, and on any Chamber radio spots the week of your ribbon cutting and will submit your ribbon cutting photo to The Eagle one to two weeks after the event.
The Business may provide refreshments for guests (attendance ranging from 15-30 persons). There is a $50.00 fee for Standard Ribbon Cuttings.
