The Transportation Committee works in conjunction with the Legislative Affairs Committee to make sure that our area's infrastructure is represented. They work to make sure that our area roads, railroads, airways and other modes of transportation are represented in local, state and federal government arenas. Legislative Affairs Committee
Forms subcommittees focusing on local, state, and national issues; plans Chamber legislative trips to Austin and Washington DC; ensures Chamber presence at local council meetings to provide opportunities to be proactive on business-related issues; provides forums for candidate views on business issues; coordinates programs with area legislators.
