Leadership Programs

The Chamber of Commerce hosts several Leadership programs for Brazos Valley residents of all ages. The Leadership Programs are designed to promote and foster the development of community leaders for Brazos County. Our programs acquaint participants with the area’s assets, needs and opportunities while providing a forum to discuss community challenges with representatives from industry, government, the media and human services.

Leadership Brazos (LB)
This is our one-day-per-month, over the course of nine months, community-based leadership program.  Thirty six participants are selected every year in a highly competitive applications process.  Applications, not applicants, are chosen by a review panel made up of Chamber Board of Directors and the Leadership Brazos Alumni Association's leadership council  The applications are evaluated in an anonymous/redacted (i.e., blind) process.
